The EC60C features one of the highest break-out and tear-out forces in its class. With an advanced boom and attachment geometry, Volvo says this power-packed compact lets operators stretch further, dig deeper and reach higher.
Volvo has shortened the bucket and bucket linkage to gain greater ripping power, with the articulated boom extending its reach in every direction. As a result, the EC60C will measure up to any task, from picking and sorting to top loading large tip trucks, fast and effectively.
Volvo has harnessed the high performance of the Volvo compact series to give the EC60C enormous traction power on site. It will get there faster too, thanks to a 10-percent increase in travel speed.
When excavating, the bucket swivels to bite hard and square. Fully loaded, even at maximum height, it stays tightly closed to firmly hold in material.
Power and smooth hydraulics deliver its performance with no compromise on safety. There is simultaneous control of the slew and offset movements through a more intuitive interface, which extends the scope for faster, safer performance, even in confined spaces and on slopes. Volvo claims that combining all this with the legendary performance of the highly fuel-efficient, smooth, quiet and low-emission Volvo engine, will make this excavator welcome on any job site.
